Orthopaedics
What is veterinary orthopaedics?
The term ‘veterinary orthopaedics’ describes a field of veterinary science concerned with treating conditions of the skeleton, as well as associated structures such as ligaments, tendons and muscles. Our highly qualified orthopaedic surgeons have undergone specialist training to be able to complete the most complex and intricate orthopaedic procedures, enabled by our state-of-the-art equipment. Conditions falling under the umbrella of orthopaedics are wide-ranging and include cruciate disease, hip dysplasia and elbow dysplasia. We are delighted to be able to offer a full orthopaedic service for all companion animals.
We know that when a pet suffers, owners feel the strain too. We understand the importance of getting a pet back on their paws as soon as possible, which is why we offer a wide service of support to our patients. This includes post-operative care plans and physiotherapy, all centred around their individual needs.
